During the activation of your Flash Mobile service, we automatically try to update your mobile phone settings to enable internet, picture messaging, Wi-Fi calling, and Visual Voicemail. However, in some cases, you may need to manually configure certain settings. Below, we’ve provided step-by-step instructions for both Android and Apple devices.

Android – Initial Set-up (Flash Mobile Data & APN Settings)
- Insert the Flash Mobile SIM card into your device.
- Power on your device.
- Ensure you have a good signal and that your device’s software is up to date.
If you’re still encountering issues, follow these additional steps:
- Power down your phone.
- Remove the SIM card.
- Restart your phone.
- After your phone has powered up, re-insert your SIM card.
If these steps didn’t resolve your problems, continue with the instructions below.
Android – Manually configure Flash Mobile APN settings (only if required)
- Go to “Settings.”
- Navigate to “Wireless networks” or similar options such as “Network & internet” or “Connections.”
- Select “Mobile network” and then “Access Point Names.”
- Delete any existing settings or reset to default settings.
- To create a new APN profile, tap “Add” in the upper right corner.
- Enter the following settings:
- Cellular Data:
- Name: Wireless
- APN: wholesale
- MMS:
- MMSC: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
- MMS Port: 8080
- MCC: 310 (if not auto-populated)
- MNC: 260 (if not auto-populated)
- APN Type: default, supl, mms, ia
- APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
- Cellular Data:
- Press the Menu key.
- Save the settings.
- Delete any other APNs in the list.
- Touch the APN to be removed.
- Press the Menu key.
- Touch “Delete APN.”
- Verify there is a circle next to the remaining APN.
- Perform a soft reset by holding down the power button until your device turns off and restarts.
- Test the data connection and MMS by accessing the web or sending a picture message.
If these steps still don’t resolve your issue, you will need to manually configure your settings.
Apple – Initial Set-up (Flash Mobile Data & APN Settings)
- Ensure you have the latest iOS software (version 14.5 or later) downloaded, and Siri is turned on. You can check your software version by going to Settings > General > About.
- Insert your Flash Mobile SIM card into your iPhone and power it on.
You should now be able to test the data connection and MMS by accessing the web or sending a picture message.
Apple – Manually configure Flash Mobile APN settings
Please note that iPhone 6 and older devices will require manual configuration of APN settings to use data services, MMS, and hotspot.
- Go to “Settings” > “Cellular” > “Cellular Data Options” > “Cellular Network.”
- Enter the following APN settings:
